Our first moment of 2017 did not disappoint. S+ S tied the knot on a chilly January evening with a stunning ceremony at the Lyceum and followed a beautiful reception on the grounds of The Garten Verein. The evening filled great memories and a packed dance floor. S selected a color palette of cream, gold, with pops of pink, dark burgundy, and green. OH! SO PRETTY. We don't want to drag this out too much because the images tell it all. Shout out to My Happy Lens Photography for the images.

Lyceum Galveston Wedding of Shaena and Sam Part 1
Shaena and Sam met at a party, and as they say the rest is history. Shaena and Sam exchanged vows at The Lyceum, it's hard wood flooring, stunning stained glass windows combined with the beautiful color palette of mint green, purple, ivory and gold was perfect ! After the ceremony the guest headed to Gartein Verein to enjoy cocktail hour filled with libations, mini bites provided by Chopin Mon Ami and the smooth sounds of the Royal Dukes band. The ball room was transformed with champagne colored linen, gold accented decor, combined with beautiful purple, pink and green florals. After dinner Shaena and Sam spent the evening dancing the night away surrounded by friends and family. It was a blast to collaborte with Shaena and Sam on their moment and I wish them all the love their hearts and hands can hold. Congratulations !

This weekend could not have been any better, the weather was breezy, the sun shine was perfect
as S + S exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends. The bride selected every detail from the deep sangria tones, and lush greens, such a beautiful combination for their Moment on the island. We worked with an amazing group of vendors and we will be shouting them all out soon, until then here is the non-pro sneak peek. Enjoy !

Galveston wedding planning services
I grew up a few miles away from the island and I took for granted it's lure, I did spent countless weekends here as a kid but it never crossed my mind that Galveston was a gorgeous place to have a wedding.....until I meet with Paul and Tiffany they had recently located to the area and were considering Galveston as a destination wedding for their intimate wedding of 80 guest, they gushed with excitement as they shared ideas of a wedding weekend filled with activities. My honest initial reaction was ummmmm "Ok" because the client is always right, but I can tell you that the details of their Moment did flow very well, and I learned all the more that I took Galveston for granted and others approached it with a fresh set of eyes, from that Moment on I began learning all about the island and it's rich history, unique shopping locations, venues, great get away spots and good eats. We have since planned over 15 events on the island. We have had the opportunity to plan events at some of the coolest island locations the list includes The Hilton,The Carnival Triumph, The Rail Road museum, The Buchanan art gallery, The Garten Verein, The Lyceum and the list goes on and on. We offer customized event planning services that range from Full Service wedding planning, partial, and Month of coordination. P.S.We love a good island party too ! So be sure to give us a call to assist you in planning your Moment on the island. And you know I can't leave without sharing a few of my favorite Moments on the Island.

One word ..... Stunning
I recently had an initial consultation with R+ J to discuss the details of their Moment. I love learning all of the details that the newly engaged have running around in their heads. R + J expressed interest in a venue that I had previously worked, and I honestly thought it would be a perfect fit for their style and personality. As it would turn out the young lady that walks the space with clients was out on vacation until the new year. So I suggested we walk through another venue in the same town she planned to get married. Honestly, you love the space or hate it. I was so unsure of how they would react to the space, but it was worth a try ....right ? When we pulled in they were unsure but as SOON as we entered the space it was ALL smiles and pretty much a done deal. The venue was built in mid 19th century as a place of worship. In 2009 the space went through a total renovation, the space now showcases stunning stain glass windows, hardwood flooring, welcoming double doors that can all be a beautiful back drop to celebrate your Moment.Needless to say R+J will be getting married Sunday,November 11,2012. By now I know your dying to see the space ..........
