Behind the Moment:

Growing a team is no small task, to trust people with your baby can be a bit daunting, but this girl Elizabeth has been one of my main girls for too many years to count. She a wife to her husband Michael, mom of three incredible kids and my assistant. She's admittedly obsessed with "say yes to the dress", and would plan her wedding over again each year if it was realistic. Until then, she's here behind the Moment enjoying the first looks between the bride and groom, keeping our brides calm by telling them funny stories, and getting them to the church on time. We are thankful to have her as a team member.

This weekend J and JW tied the knot on the island (we were not sure that this image would happen) The rain and winds earlier in the day put a kink in that plan. We are excited about every Moment that we have the opportunity to collaborate on with our clients and great vendors. We recently had the opportunity to design and plan a stylized beach shoot in the hopes of inspiring brides who are planning beach side celebrations on the island. We are also excited that the images will also be shared in Lavaliere Bridal Magazine. ( WOOOO HOOOO ) Now that were done gushing over the details , here are a few of our favorite images. Enjoy !

It's Thirsty Thursday with your Galveston wedding planner

We have been off for a few weeks and we are excited to be back in the swing of things. So we are jumping in on the summer season of Thirsty Thursday by sharing great libations for your Moment.
Here is a beautiful grapefruit mojito, it's sure to keep your guest cool this wedding season.

• 1 grapefruit, segmented & juice reserved
• 20 mint leaves
• 4 teaspoons agave nectar
• juice of 1 lime
• 1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons grapefruit juice
• 3oz rum (2 shots)
• ice
• club soda

Directions

• Muddle 4 grapefruit segments, mint, agave nectar and lime juice in the bottom of a martini shaker with the end of a wooden spoon. Add grapefruit juice and rum, then fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice. Shake until very cold then evenly divide between two glasses filled with ice. Top with club soda then garnish with remaining grapefruit segments.

We decided early on to create a beautiful Moment on the beach filled with beautiful details.
