Out and about with your Galveston wedding planner
I love having the opportunity to get to know my brides and what better way than share an afternoon at the gorgeous Hotel Za Za for a little wedding inspiration. Jamie and Sean are in the early stages of planning their Moment and the hotel was one to visit on their list. The hotel is in my mind "a cool kinda funky" it's nestled near the museum district in Houston, and I love it! On this breezy fall afternoon brides clamored to walk the space, be inspired by current trends and meet a few vendors that would assist them in all things wedding. A few of our favorite vendors were in attendance (- psss we even got to see a previous client featured in a look book -check it out here) . As Jamie and I toured the space we nibbled on good eats and took in inspiration for her nuptials with Sean, I don't know what we're going to end up with but I know it's going to be AMAZING!!! I wanted to share a few of images our favorite things ....Enjoy !

Galveston wedding planning services
I grew up a few miles away from the island and I took for granted it's lure, I did spent countless weekends here as a kid but it never crossed my mind that Galveston was a gorgeous place to have a wedding.....until I meet with Paul and Tiffany they had recently located to the area and were considering Galveston as a destination wedding for their intimate wedding of 80 guest, they gushed with excitement as they shared ideas of a wedding weekend filled with activities. My honest initial reaction was ummmmm "Ok" because the client is always right, but I can tell you that the details of their Moment did flow very well, and I learned all the more that I took Galveston for granted and others approached it with a fresh set of eyes, from that Moment on I began learning all about the island and it's rich history, unique shopping locations, venues, great get away spots and good eats. We have since planned over 15 events on the island. We have had the opportunity to plan events at some of the coolest island locations the list includes The Hilton,The Carnival Triumph, The Rail Road museum, The Buchanan art gallery, The Garten Verein, The Lyceum and the list goes on and on. We offer customized event planning services that range from Full Service wedding planning, partial, and Month of coordination. P.S.We love a good island party too ! So be sure to give us a call to assist you in planning your Moment on the island. And you know I can't leave without sharing a few of my favorite Moments on the Island.

A new find on Galveston Island for intimate weddings
I had the opportunity to visit a hidden island treasure via clients that I am midstream planning a 40th birthday celebration for. They insisted on great bites from Smooth Tony's Patio and Grill (I had never heard of them). So I scheduled a meet and greet with the owner Tony and I must say that I immediately fell in love with this spot. From the second you step out of your car, you do hear the smooth sounds of local bands entertaining guest while they dine. It's setting is airy-fun- eclectic and just a little off the beaten path. You can hold private functions here from intimate weddings to rehearsal dinners it's a win win for the nontraditional. There just are not enough words to do this space justice so I will share a few of my favorite details. I hope that you have the chance to swing by Smooth Tony's enjoy and good bite and tap your toes to the smooth grooves. And just maybe you will see me there too !
