Galveston wedding planner highlights The Trolley Station Wedding venue

It's wedding Wednesday and today we are highlighting the Trolley Station, it's the newest venue located in the historic strand district of Galveston island. I would describe the space as industrial, open, airy, and just super cool. Upon arrival guest are immediately intrigued by the festive sights and sounds of the islands strand. On the weekends you can find performers, movies, horse drawn carriages, combined with the variety of unique boutiques. Once inside your guest are greeted by a grand stair case that leads to the ball room. The details include seating for up to 300, two beautiful bars,  an intimate seating area for those who had enough fun dancing, a raised stage that is the perfect location for a band to rock out the party, and my favorite detail....the wrap around balcony. It's a stunning view of the sun set. WOW ! JUST WOW ! If you have not selected a space to celebrate
your moment you definitely need to give them a ring to schedule your site tour. Then give us a ring to chat it up over champagne and cupcakes. We can't wait to hear from you ! Now you guys and girls know that we can't end this post without sharing a few of our favorite weddings in the space. Enjoy !

What was your inspiration for the look of your wedding?

The inspiration was originally and our door wedding, but in Texas we did not want to risk any potential weather issues. So the challenge was to bring the out doors inside, and we did that by adding greenery, tons of florals combined with a few unique elements.

Trolley Station Wedding Galveston, Texas

We have been waiting to share the details of this moment with you .......I have to tell you guys that it's a STUNNER. Our bride and groom originally selected an out door venue, but had a change of heart when the unpredictability of the weather became an issue. The change of location did not change the ambiance that the two wanted to create ...." A starry night ".  After a few site tours the couple decided  on The Trolley Station located in the historic strand district of Galveston Island. Our first challenge was to create the mood inside of four walls. AND I believe we knocked it out of the park. So with out further delay here are a few of our favorites, for your enjoyment. Thanks to all of the amazing vendors who made this collaboration work.

Trolley Station wedding sneak peek

We have waited weeks to share a few of our favorite images from M + J's Trolley Station wedding.
I will tell you that M, her mom and I spent hours creating the look of their moment. Originally
the wedding was to be held out side under a tent with a stunning water front view, but April's in Texas can create a bit of a challenge. After a bit of research the bride fell in love with the trolley station located in the historical strand district, then the challenge became creating " A Starry Night " indoors .Well I would say that Heaven's Rain took our vision and nailed it !!!! I would love to share more of this celebration but we are hoping to share globally via blogs ....so we have to keep a little mystery. Until then enjoy this stunner from  Nate Messara Photography ........
