It's been a whirl wind the last few weeks and we are excited to finally share a sneak peek of S + C's moment at San Luis Resort. So much can be said about this wedding BUT we will wait until the professional images arrive to spill all the beans. Until then,  how beautiful is this orange and grey color palette ? Stunning right ! 

Bryan Museum Galveston wedding of D + F

Dani and Francis decided on an intimate wedding from the start of the planning process. They wanted to feel connected to each guest in a personal way. The two met while weight training, and as they say the rest is history. We searched high and low before laying eyes on The Bryan Museum  it's the islands newest wedding venue and let me tell  you ...it's a STUNNER. The couple selected a modern color palette of black, gold and cream ...oh so SEXY for a wedding right! The moment has passed but the memories will last for a life time and we are excited to share a few of them with you. 

Galveston wedding planner wishes B + T a happy anniversary

B + T  exchanged vows on the grounds of Ashton Villa on warm Spring day last year. We wanted to 

take the time to wish them a Happy 1st anniversary and share a details behind the moment. 

Bride :  Brittany, what advice would you give future brides about wedding day ? 

Enjoy every moment, as they come and don't rush through the day. Think about getting to the altar to your husband. It's the most magical day of your lives and you only get to do it once. 

Groom : Thomas, what advise would you give future grooms for their wedding day ?

Always remember that she's been dreaming about this since she was born, enjoy it all because you don't get it back. 

Any advise for those planning and wedding now ?

Hire a coordinator, even if it's month of. I am not saying that because your asking ( lol ! )

I am say it because you were a life saver and made  my day be exactly what I dreamed it to be. It was also worth not stressing about any thing. 

 Tell us a few of your favorite wedding day details ?

We love the idea of signature drinks, and we drew a lot of inspiration from pinterest for our wedding.

My cousin also designed the font for all of our paper goods.

What are you looking forward to the most as a married couple ?

Building a home and family together. Living life with your best friend and seeing where God takes us

Trust me when I say we have worked at almost every space, and if not we have our eye of them. ( wink wink). Ashton Villa  

Is a stunning mansion built in 1859, the space boast stunning hard wood floors, 

a beautiful stair case that is perfect for the newly weds entrance. I could go on and on about this space but I will spare you.  ( psss...just click the link to find out more be sure to tell Laura that I sent you) 

The Trolley Station 

We are getting to hit the streets of the historic strand district for this view. 

This gorgeous venue is just waiting to be filled with stunning details to compliment the exposed brick, glass and the view of the comings and goings of the island's night life. 

Hotel Galvez 

Now ....your are finally seeing what all the buzz is about on the island. 

Hotel Galvez is located beach side, with a lawn view that include the island's sandy shores, complete 

with the salty waves as the back drop. It's a stunner ! 

All of these spaces are unique in their own right, be sure to grab your favorite pair of sunnies, fill up the tank, get your cup of joe ( or sweet tea) and get here to see them for your self.

Growing a team is no small task, to trust people with your baby can be a bit daunting, but this girl Elizabeth has been one of my main girls for too many years to count. She a wife to her husband Michael, mom of three incredible kids and my assistant. She's admittedly obsessed with "say yes to the dress", and would plan her wedding over again each year if it was realistic. Until then, she's here behind the Moment enjoying the first looks between the bride and groom, keeping our brides calm by telling them funny stories, and getting them to the church on time. We are thankful to have her as a team member.

Behind the Moment  we have been heels down with the details of our final celebrations of 2014. It's been an amazing ride, and we can't wait until we can share ALL of the details with you. If you can't tell from our previous postings we are sharing just a peek into what the new year will hold. So today we decided to spill a bit more.....  our road to becoming a wedding planner has made us  well equipped to handle the issues that will happen behind the scenes. What started as a hobby has evolved over the years and I've honestly set a few things on the shelf, but as of late I have revisited my journals and made mental notes, and it has created a spark in me. I said ALL of that to say ..... that we are currently enrolled in floral design, and we are EXCITED to learn more and to add this as this  as option for our clients. Yeah !!!!!! it's really happening and we can't wait to share a few of our favorite creations over the next few weeks. SO we thought it would be fun to share a few of our favorite creations. It's a good read from where you started to where your going.........SOoooooo here we go !
