Not sure why, but I have slept on sharing the details of L + K's intimate wedding on the grounds of 

Menard Hall . You would never know it but it rained buckets the entire day and if it's like the old folks would say "rain on your wedding day means good luck"....L + K are going to have tons of good juju surrounding married life. L was a beautiful bride and K was calm, cool and collected as they exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends, I tell you that's one of my favorite things about participating in those moments with clients....... FAMILY . I want to thank every vendor who made this collaboration work ...YOU ROCK !

M + R exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony this past Saturday on East beach. We planned most of the celebration via Sunday "skype" dates. I am eagerly awaiting the professional images from
 Alexander Cross Photography  until then here is the non-pro sneak peek of their Moment.

M + B Smooth Tony's wedding - A real moment with your Galveston Wedding planner

 We are so excited that the professional photos for M + B's  island wedding have arrived. I met with M last summer and we chatted easily over a cool glass of water. M + B is a fun loving yet easy going young couple and planning the details was a joy. Guest were invited to watch the couple exchange vows at sunset on the lush yard at Smooth Tony's, they decided early on to see each other prior to the ceremony ....M + B actually walked the aisle together...kinda cool right?  Guest enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing. Thanks to all of the AMAZING vendors who made this Moment a success.

                                      

Beach wedding inspiration from your Galveston wedding planner

We are always excited to open our email boxes with inquiries for island weddings. We just finished a Skype chat with M + R who need a little help planning their intimate sunset celebration. They expressed a love of the color orange in the sunset with hints of  blue and corals, the details always gets my mind running. I am not sure exactly what we will end up with for their Moment but nevertheless we were inspired to  provide a visual..... So be on the look out for the real wedding this April.

          

                                      

2013 year in review ....Moments with your Galveston wedding and event planner

I will tell you that this event in MY head was a little suspect. The client contacted me via social media and stated he was in Afghanistan but wanted to plan a surprise vow renewal for his wife we could not meet or speak one the phone due to over seas and communication logistics, our main source of communication was email.  The clients know this now but I honestly gave it the side eye .....but one side felt as though the details he shared were true ...long story short after sharing a few emails I found out he was the real deal. We set about planning and intimate vow renewal for 35 guest from the invites to the music it was ALL the grooms input. As you can imagine we were quite nervous for her and kept our fingers crossed that she would LOVE what we had secretly planned. Well I can tell you now that that Saturday was a gorgeous day on the island and A+K's day was perfect!!!!! An intimate Galveston wedding at Smooth Tony

I met Mandy exactly nine weeks prior to their nuptials, she wanted help planning her intimate Galveston wedding. I would describe her immediately as a free spirited and easy going young lady so planning the details of their  Moment was quite fun! She had a specific venue in mind that in all honesty it did not match her bubbly personality, so I suggested we walk a unique restaurant on the island that I thought she would love, and Smooth Tony's put a smile on her face. Mandy and Brian's over all theme was fun and I think we knocked it out of the park. We are tapping the desk as we wait on the professional images but until then we wanted to share a few non- pro sneak peeks. Enjoy!
