Galveston wedding planner highlights The Trolley Station Wedding venue

It's wedding Wednesday and today we are highlighting the Trolley Station, it's the newest venue located in the historic strand district of Galveston island. I would describe the space as industrial, open, airy, and just super cool. Upon arrival guest are immediately intrigued by the festive sights and sounds of the islands strand. On the weekends you can find performers, movies, horse drawn carriages, combined with the variety of unique boutiques. Once inside your guest are greeted by a grand stair case that leads to the ball room. The details include seating for up to 300, two beautiful bars,  an intimate seating area for those who had enough fun dancing, a raised stage that is the perfect location for a band to rock out the party, and my favorite detail....the wrap around balcony. It's a stunning view of the sun set. WOW ! JUST WOW ! If you have not selected a space to celebrate
your moment you definitely need to give them a ring to schedule your site tour. Then give us a ring to chat it up over champagne and cupcakes. We can't wait to hear from you ! Now you guys and girls know that we can't end this post without sharing a few of our favorite weddings in the space. Enjoy !

Menard Hall wedding sneak peek

We just can't get enough of seeing our clients Moments in visual form. L & K are enjoying their honey moon on the black sand beaches of California, but the sneak peeks are here and we can't wait to hit send. It poured buckets of rain this weekend and we had to divert from our original plan of photos on the beach, so the next best option was the beautiful Menard House that is filled with TONS of beautiful details. So as we impatiently wait on more images ...here are a few sneak peeks. Thanks to Second Shot Photography for the images.

Happy Anniversary from your Galveston wedding planner

I have attended the same church for the past ten years and I am always honored when I am asked to participate in celebrating special Moments for our pastors and local church body. Marriage is no easy gig but it's well worth every hill and valley. A few weeks ago our Pastors celebrated 25 years of marriage and we as a body had the opportunity to celebrate with the them. Here's a non- pro peek at our sweet table design. We also wanted to take this opportunity to tell them that we love them for all that they do for our church see and unseen, we are thankful that they love Jesus big time and that shows in how they lead and shepherd us. Enjoy the Moment !!!

A Real Moment with your Galveston wedding planner J + J Part 1

My first conversation with our bride J was over the phone and via text ( I know ....I know) she gushed with excitement as she shared the thoughts she had for her beach front nuptials to J. I must admit, that  I liked her from the start, so we planned to meet over coffee to discuss their Moment in detail. (and again I just loved her bubbly personality) So you can imagine that we were over the moon happy when they selected our company to collaborate with. A few weeks back we shared the pro sneak peeks and today we are SOOOOOoooo happy to share part 1 of  Mr. & Mr. M - Sandy Orchid Lodge wedding- honestly ALL of the images look great but I have to narrow it down to share with you. One word  describes them all STUNNING !!!!!!! OK OK I know your ready now right ? Enjoy !

it's Thirsty Thursday with your Galveston wedding planner

The last few weeks we have been heels down with the final Moments of the year, we actually missed a few Thirsty Thursday's but were back ......today's libation is Honeycrisp Apple Sangria from Sally's baking Addition.  It's beautiful presentation is just perfect for your fall cocktail hour or family get gatherings.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cinnamon sticks (plus more for garnish)
  • 2 honeycrisp apples, chopped
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle red wine (I suggest a light-bodied Spanish variety)
  • 1 and 3/4 cups apple cider*
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (or juice from 2 medium oranges)
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • club soda, to taste
Directions:
Place the cinnamon sticks, apples, and orange slices in a large pitcher. Add wine, apple cider, brandy, orange juice, and lemon juice. Allow to sit in the refrigerator for 6 - 24 hours. Taste; if you'd like it to be sweeter, add 1-2 Tablespoons granulated sugar, honey, or agave.

If you'd like a cinnamon-sugar rim (highly recommended), simply moisten the rim of your glasses with water, turn the glass upside down and dip it into a mix of cinnamon and sugar. Pour in the sangria with fruit* and add a splash of club soda (this unsweetened fizz is wonderful with the sangria!). Garnish with a cinnamon stick, if desired. Cheers!

Enjoy !

It's Wedding Wednesday with your Galveston Wedding Planner today we are sharing a good read

We love to share current trends and inspiration ideas with you each Wedding Wednesday.  So when we ran across the good read from the perfect wedding guide we had to share this with you. Most weddings the brides gown is the "it" factor  that we all drool over. From the lace, to the train, to the bling. BUT I have to tell you there ain't NOTHING,  like a well dressed man. This article shares the art of wearing a non-traditional color suit vs. the black and maybe grey that we see.  It seems like for so long that their was a unspoken rule, grooms shall not wear color well guess what rules are made to be broken. From the electric blue to the HOT shade of red the looks are SWOON worthy. SO with out further delay here are a few of our favorite images from  google and to read more,  here is the link from The Perfect Wedding Guide  ....enjoy the Moment fellas.

love this red - not too over powering but stylish

I love this blue and would LOVE LOVE to see this against a white gown with a FAB train

LOVE !

And we had to save the best for last ...PURPLE OMG !!!!!! GOT TO LOVE IT
