A + M Married at Galveston Moody Mansion
I can't believe it's been a year since this intimate celebration. Can I be honest ? We love love weddings of all kinds, but those with guest counts under fifty feel soooooo different, and A + M's moment was just that. Early on the couple decided on that their celebration would be intentionally intimate, inviting only 40 guest to celebrate their nuptials at the stunning Moody Mansion. They selected a warm color palette of champagne, gold, with hints of green. ( Not too much for the space)
The couple exchanged vows in the mansions grand foyer, surrounded by family and the rich architecture of the space. The evening closed with dinner and dancing, and smiling faces.
PERFECT ! We wanted to take the time to say Happy anniversary, cheers to a hundred more !

It's Favorite thing friday with your Galveston wedding planner
As a planner I can tell you I have a list of FAVORITE things to celebrate your Moment . But today I wanted to share the beautiful lapel pins created by LAM & Co. it's a stylish alternative to the traditional groom's boutonniere. The family behind the company began creating this look after seeing higher priced options, with a little creativity and sweat equity they developed this STYLISH brand of lapel pins (and shoe strings that coordinate ) that won't break your budget. I wanted to take a moment to share a few of our favorite looks from them. P.S. be sure to check them out , order a few to complete your look. Happy Friday !!!!!

Ingredients:
- Ingredients :
- 1 (1 liter/33.8 ounces) Key Lime Sparkling Water (I used 0 calorie)
- 1 (12 ounces) package frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup superfine sugar
- 1 (12 ounces) Limeade frozen concentrate
- Lots of crushed ice
- Fresh limes, for serving
Directions:
- Make sure the sparkling water has been chilled.
- Combine the Key Lime Sparkling Water with the frozen raspberries, superfine sugar, and Limeade frozen concentrate in a very large blender.
- If you don't have a large blender, you may have to do this drink in two separate blends or it most likely will spill out of your blender.
- Blend together until smooth.
- If desired, rim your glasses with sugar by squeezing a lime around the rim and then dipping the glass in a bowl of superfine sugar (extra from the 1/4 cup called out for in the recipe)
- Fill up the glass with crushed ice (either crushed superfine from a slushy machine or just regular crushed ice if desired) and then pour the drink into your glass.
- Enjoy !

1 cup sugar
6 cups sparkling water
1 1/2 cups vodka
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
6 cups sparkling water
1 1/2 cups vodka
1 cup water
in a small pot, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
Remove the skins from 2 of the peaches, reserving the third. Cut an "X" in the bottom of each one, and place them in a pot of boiling water for about 30 seconds. Transfer the peaches to an ice bath, and peel when cool enough to handle. Slice each peeled peach in half and remove the pits. Cut peaches into cubes, place them in the blender or food processor, and puree until liquified.
In a large pitcher, combine the pureed peaches, the cooled simple syrup, the sparkling water, the lemon juice and the vodka. Stir to combine. Add ice and stir again.
Cut the remaining peach into thin slices. Stir a few of the slices into the lemonade and use the others to garnish the glasses.
Enjoy !
