K + R a real Moment with your Galveston Wedding Planner

We are so excited to share the non- pro sneak peek of K + R . We received a phone inquiry from K about her pending nuptials to her high school sweet heart. Our chat was easy and I could not wait to meet the two of them to learn more about the details of  their celebration. We met on a cold and rainy Saturday morning, and again our conversation was quite easy she shared that they were planning two ceremonies one traditionally Hindu and the other traditionally American. My head did spin just a little because we had not planned a traditional Hindu wedding, but I  was excited non the less. I must say I liked the two of them immediately, so after the consult I  began to research the details of Hindu weddings. (even though I was not officially their planner) I went home excited about the possibility, but was a little anxious if they would select Moments to collaborate with them on the details. So you can imagine how excited we were to get the call....whoooo hoooooo. I can tell you than I learned sooooo much about the Hindu culture during the process. I can tell you the wedding ceremonies were beautiful and we are impatiently waiting the arrival of the professional images, but until then this will have to do. Congratulations to K + R we wish you a life of love laughter and forever after.

An intimate Galveston wedding at Smooth Tony

I met Mandy exactly nine weeks prior to their nuptials, she wanted help planning her intimate Galveston wedding. I would describe her immediately as a free spirited and easy going young lady so planning the details of their  Moment was quite fun! She had a specific venue in mind that in all honesty it did not match her bubbly personality, so I suggested we walk a unique restaurant on the island that I thought she would love, and Smooth Tony's put a smile on her face. Mandy and Brian's over all theme was fun and I think we knocked it out of the park. We are tapping the desk as we wait on the professional images but until then we wanted to share a few non- pro sneak peeks. Enjoy!

I met with Mandy on the island to discuss her tying the knot to Brian this fall. She gushed with excitement as she discussed their pending nuptials and  her bridal shoot. Of course she would wear her gown BUT Brian would be on site also, I immediately loved the idea and waited impatiently for the sneak peek of their Moment  via email, and then we wait to share with you ......... by the time you read this the two will be starting their new lives together as Mr. & Mrs.  and we wish them ALL of the love their hearts and hands can hold. AND you know we wanted to share a few of our favorites !

bouquet bliss - finding the bouquet that's right for you

The bouquet is  the stylish accessory to your gown, and the design of it should be carefully considered...... Do too much and it's over kill, do to little and it's lost.  We wanted to share a few tips that may help you select the perfect bouquet for your Moment . First off, is  to take a few photos of your gown to take to your consult this will help you coordinate the look better.

1. Know your styles when you visit your local designer. Hand-tied, contemporary, cascade and cluster are a few of  the popular styles. Feel free to take images of bouquets that you like, a great visual never hurt any one.

2. Consider the season that your going to tie the knot, out of season flowers can cost you significantly more. If there is a flower that you are head over heels for, ask the florist what's a good alternative that's in season.

3. Think color, from pops that tie into the over all color palette and the monochromatic. From cool water roses, peonies, orchids the possibilities are endless.

Most of all remember it's a statement piece that represents YOUR  style so Rock it out ladies

Garten Verein wedding of B + D

I loved Bonnie and David from our first consult, very laid back but sincerely wanted to welcome their guest to Texas in BIG fashion. (y'all know every thing is BIG here). Most every detail was planned via email, Skype and sprinkled with a few trips to Texas. I must say the details came together well. Bonnie and David married this past April on a gorgeous day in Galveston.(their style was shabby- chic that also incorporated a few surprises along the way) I love every image from Steve Lee photography and I wanted to share a few (really all) of my favorites with you. Enjoy !
