wedding invitation 101

As a wedding planner one of my favorite details is the wedding invitation. It's the first glimpse into your wedding day, and every detail sets the tone. We have all received that invite that made you swoon, as you impatiently counted down the days to the celebration. We wanted to share a few tips on creating the perfect invitation for your Moment. We suggest researching styles and budget 8 months prior to your wedding date, and narrowing them down to your top three. Once you have found the one, the next step is determining who will be inviting your guest.Traditionally it was the brides parents who extended the invitation but with the changing times it's not uncommon to see the couple inviting guest along with their parents. The next step is selecting the specific invitation wording, design, and assembling the guest list. Remember it's ok to add embellishments from ribbon, to branding and beading it's the big little detail. Once you have selected those details next is stuffing and mailing them out to your guest 8 weeks prior to wedding date. Then..... the buzz starts around your  moment. Nothing like receiving calls from guest who are excited  about your celebration, because they received  beautifully crafted stationery.  Now for a little eye candy......
